I am moving out soon, I loved it here as I have been living here for three years. In 2023 in mid year I started seeing roaches here which is mainly the overall reason for looking for a better place. This is not family friendly at all.
Went here on a tour and if you on the voucher system and have a 2 bedroom voucher or better, do not waste your time here. As they will get your hopes and dreams intrigued to be shattered.
I asked do they take one-bedroom vouchers and they yes, but for people who are approved for two-bedroom vouchers which are usually families well they are discriminating against us as we mean nothing to them. Let them keep that same energy but stop wasting people's time and tell them the truth when they call up and ask about your vouchers and that online it stated you take all vouchers but that is not true. What shamble and loopholes these landlords get away with out here. Sickening, because we may not want handouts but some of us are trying to show our kids better and some of us been thru stuff while trying to build a future for them. So don't shame us for getting help from the government as that is exactly what it feels as such.

The fact that I had to give one star is even worse. I wish I could give none. I came into this branch this morning to close my account.
Long story short, I got my money and the teller told me a lie. The lie the teller told me was a banker will call me to set up closing my account.
Here it was around 7:47 pm and something told me to follow up on my own. So I call the number where the supervisor told me Wells Fargo would never call me to close an account instead the customer has to. That's where I drew the line. Tomorrow I calling back and closing my account for good.

I am so blessed by them. They helped me when i needed that as to keeping myself together. I am so thankful and grateful may god be to glorify them in so many ways. Keep them shining
No stars!!!! Here's why: when i went to get help with my ID, i knew the credential for me to get one but i had no money. Thrive DC was going to help me. When I got to the DMV since i had already an ID that i needed a money order instead of proof of residency paper. OKAY!!! No problem. In return with going thru all this I had to go back and forth. The only good thing that came from this is Thrive DC gave me bus money to use after i had to go back and forth.
Word of advice is: If you already have an id for DC then just tell them you need a money order. If you never had an id in DC then you get the proof of residency. Thanks hope this information will help someone.
