Excellent place for a walk anytime of day

It’s a spacious green pier. Literally. For NYC it has a lot of grass by the water and during the summer the sprinklers are on for a nice cool wet breeze. You can see the Statue of Liberty from afar and a bunch of seating areas with tables and a cute picnic area. You get an incredible view of the New Jersey skyline and a beautiful spot for sunsets

It’s a small little beach, good place to see the sunset. The beach has many rocks and even though it says no fishing there are many people fishing there. There’s an abandoned graffiti house and I haven’t been further out than that so I’m not sure about the walking trails. The trails usually lead out to the big road that leads to the beach. There is also a small little plaza like area that is beautiful with flowers and a small little stadium
