The view and experience was amazing from every level. I bought tickets from the actual website (recommended due to scams) for the top as a family of 3. My experience was the elevator/lift. There are 3 floors.
You can walk to the lowest, or catch the lift on the way down. Don't get off here when coming down, people are packed like sardines, so you'll never get back on and will have to just walk down or up.
Next stop is a better vantage point, lots of room, but tourists and natives fill up every corner. Off-season we were able to get great pics when the day cleared up after raining around 5pm, our luck.
Top floor was the best vantage of all Paris, amazing. That's what you want.
There's a shop for knick knacks, champaign and coffee. I honest don't know how you would ever appreciate them though; it was packed on off season. A cattle car of 1 lift after another just shuttling people up. My only criticism was metering more.

It provides a beautiful view of all adjacent sites, and the statue is amazingly detailed. I just dont understand why horse balls were so necessary in such detail...but I'm not a sculptor. Regardless, the top provides vantage for amazing photos. The history and the epic architectural stonework is breath taking. You won't be disappointed stopping here.
