Went to Marqer yesterday for first time. They certainly have a good selection of goods. Place is cleanish, can be cleaner. Worst thing is their customer service. The guy at the cheese counter was rude and very unhelpful. The ground staff could kind regards be bothered and sat chatting with each other. The grocery guy was the only helpful and professional service person. At the counter I told the checkout lady how rude the staff were, she friend her face away and said “they must be having a bad day”. She was not apologetic and as rude as them. Will never go back nor recommend anyone in our family go back. Management seems to encourage this rude behavior. There are many alternative in Ras Beirut to this rude unprofessional behavior. Grocery shopping is about service. Good luck and let’s see how long you will last with this behavior.
