Bannockburn Trail
2019 Oct 18
Great trail, not overly travelled or busy. The large trail is easy to walk for the average person. Some slight inclines and slippery sections. Smaller loop available with boardwalks and all flat terrain for those would rather. Some parts of the trails have signage that point out different trees or parts of the area.
There is signage for an old barn and pioneer house but there is not much left of either. The barn has no remains, only a clearing in the trees and a dip in the ground. The house has some rubble from the foundation but it is mostly gone and overgrown with trees and bushes. Great for a small hike if you are not looking for a day trip.
