A pleasant dining experience was married by some poor kitchen flow. We were asked if we wanted our kids meals to come out with the sashimi started and we said yes, but the kids meals came much later than the sashimi. After the kids had finished, we had to wait for a lot longer for our mains and a side of mushrooms which I ordered was forgotten by the kitchen.
The service itself was polite and pleasant, although sometimes difficult to get a hold of.
The good was pretty good, some high points include actual fresh wasabi from Tasmania, and house made tartare sauce, and the steak was done wonderfully. The grilled Murray cod was delicate but a little oversalted. Kids fish and chips were good although they were crumbed instead of battered.

Some of the most amazing views from a playground you will ever get especially at sunset. Added bonus of having the Boatshed Cafe nearby for coffee and food during the day, and barbecue facilities and there’s also a toilet as well.
