Wonderful, easy hiking spot along the river to Egg Rock, with a lovely lookout over the convergence of the Assabet and Sudbury Rivers. An easy hour out-and-back from the parking area. Terrific idea for a walk with younger kids.
Excellent 3.3 mile loop up to Beaver Pond and back. Blue herons, frogs, snakes, and more...plus lady slippers all over. Plenty of parking off of 117.
What a gem- this 3-mile loop was breathtaking. The field was expansive and colorful, the trail to the river and into the woods and small hills on the other side of ORNAC were also lovely. Highly recommended.
Do yourself a favor and do the RT hike from Malcolm/Davis down Two Rod Road to Concord. This trail network is spectacular and relatively flat and easy. We did a five-mile loop on a perfect spring afternoon and it was the best hike we’ve done in a while.
Decent trail, very muddy. Easy connection to Nagog Hill- together a 3.4 mile loop. Loved the boardwalk on Nagog Hill segment.
