Adhai Din Ka Jhopra
2023 Dec 19
Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra is a historical mosque in the city of Ajmer in Rajasthan. It is approx. 400 meter's away from the dargah. The path to the monument is compact and narrow. It is one of the oldest mosques in India and the oldest surviving monument in Ajmer. It's a beautiful monument but in bad condition.

The historical mosque is Commissioned by Qutb-ud-Din-Aibak in 1192 CE and designed by Abu Bakr of Herat, the mosque is an example of early Indo-Islamic architecture. The structure was completed in 1199 CE and was further enhanced by Iltutmish of Delhi in 1213 CE. Quran ayats are carved outside entry gates. An early example of the Indo-Islamic architecture.

The structure is used as a mosque. The structure was turned over to the Jaipur circle of ASI (Archaeological Survey of India) and is today visited by people of all religions.
Smokestack
2023 Oct 20
Smokestack brings the essence of New Orleans to the centre of Leeds. It’s a speakeasy styled hangout that pulses with live funk, soul, blues and jazz music long into the night.

These guys take great pride in their cocktail list, and after one or two have gone down the hatch it’s clear to see just why. Shaking up a liqueur storm with their premium southern-styled spirits, these mixed drinks offer quirky twists on forgotten classics. Rum-lovers need look no further than South of Soho, while the Parisian absinthe-laden Corpse Reviver No.2 packs one hefty punch. There’s plenty in store for the craft beer and wine connoisseurs too.
