It's a very nice plaza if only it was kept clean. Locals don't seem to care enough to keep trash, debris, etc. from accumulating.
This is really a city wide issue. Empty lots, houses, and abandoned schools are filthy with trash.
Although the local radio implores the people to keep the city clean, it's like they don't care. No wonder Mexico is how it is, specially this border town.
But back to this plaza. It's been updated in the last few years and has a modern look to it. It's pretty, but no longer has the charm it had.
It could use more benches, more greenery, and less concrete.
