Love it here! Great spot for birding and the fishing isn’t bad either

Cute skatepark in the back, baseball fields are super close to the parking lot and houses but otherwise it’s a great little spot.

Decent free boat launch area, rather busy at most times but that’s expected. Litter is an outstanding issue here and I wouldn’t recommend going barefoot around the waters edge

A truly beautiful spot! There are plenty of trails around the lake and if you get the chance, I highly recommend going out on a boat or kayak. There are plenty of opportunities to see wildlife, including an array of bird species native to the area such as herrings. I would recommend wearing pants due to the large amount of tall grass that surrounds area. Also a can of off comes in handy at night time when the mosquitos come out.
