It’s a free activity so you can only gain by coming here.

Plenty to see for everyone from fashion and LGBT to the original train and trams.

The 1001 items exhibit in the heart of the building was my personal favourite. Lots of connected rooms with different colours and themes based on the random trinkets on display

‘Twas a rainy day when we went so this was great to hide in for a few hours.
I enjoyed my day out here but when you look at the place with a critical eye it’s essentially one massive merchandising opportunity with a few rides to call it a theme park.

Hollywood and New York areas were just shops and 4D cinemas.
Jurassic park had one dinosaur in the shop. Could have done with a themed ride like Jaws

Mario land looked amazing but unless you buy the wristband you’re not going to be here long. Mario kart was good but the queue was too long.

Harry Potter again was well designed area but not a lot to do, wasted space in the castle. One of the rides lasted 22 seconds after a 90 minute wait.

Waterworks stunt show was a stand out. Must see when you’re in a universal studios.

None of the rides were enjoyable enough to queue up twice for.
Especially when the queue times are an hour and a half you end up spending 75% of your day queueing.
I don’t know how it would work in practice but the ticket system they use for the restaurants here where you take a number and come back when you’re up could help this.

There just wasn’t enough to do if you remove the standing in a queue time and aren’t interested in the shops.
