One of the most underrated restaurants in Salt Lake Kolkata.
I have been having food at this restaurant ever since its inception. The quality is just the same and the price is the most reasonable price in entire Salt Lake City.
What I love about this place is they have completely kept different kitchens for their Mughlai and Chinese cuisines. And the people who pack your food and serve it to you always have a smile on their face. This little gesture is truly unforgettable and this will make you come back to this restaurant time and again.

Dishes to have:

1.Chicken Steam momos
2.Egg Chicken Hakka noodles
3.Rumali Roti
4.Tandoori Roti
5.Chicken Tikka
6.Chicken Tandoori Full Plate
7.Chicken Biryani
8.Egg Chicken Roll
One of the most important Shakti Peeth’s in India is Kalighat Temple.
This temple is dedicated to the Hindu Goddess Maa Kali.Mythology says that when Lord Vishnu had used his Sudarshan Chakra to destroy Sati’s body,it was the right leg of Sati Mata that fell in this place.
Today it is better known as Kalighat Shakti Peeth.
The place is buzzing with shops which sell different items related to puja of Maa Kali.
Since the main pandit of the temple is very well known to us,we had the privilege of visiting this temple as special devotees and gave special Darshan here.We also got a chance to see the Sacrificial Chamber where everyday there is a goat sacrifice and once a year there is a Ox sacrifice.
Not only that we had purchased a few Stone Idols of Maa Kali and Lord Shiva from one of the shops adjacent to the temple.
Also we got a chance to have some kheer Prasad and workship the Lord Shiva idol that is present in his home,in the temple premises.
Kalighat is really beautiful and peaceful. The temple is undergoing a massive renovation presently all thanks to Ms.Neeta Ambani.
Once the renovation is complete the entire look of the Temple and the Kund Area is going to be very different.
Also the Government of West Bengal has started work on a Skywalk that is going to connect the temple premises directly with Rashbehari Avenue, hence making it more convenient for devotees.
