They receive freight on your behalf and any questions you have they simply tell you to use their portal. Their portal is not updated with information and then suddenly weeks later you see your shipment was delivered weeks ago. Then they try to bill you storage. Your customer not only suffers delays due to their failure but they try to increase their revenue by charging exorbitant storage charges. To add insult to injury they charge based on the dims of the pallet even if the pallet is utilized for their convenience. Cargo is not banded to pallet and light enough for 1 person to pick up. Try to question any charges and be prepared for their management to insult you. It is rather sad that they seem to feel that it is simply an issue of us not agreeing with charges instead of them realizing that their system and procedures are a total failure and then they expect the customer to be responsible for unjustifiable charges that result from their incompetence. We rely on vendor's professional service and not luck. We have found another vendor that is far and above what Griley's service level was.
