Straightforward, but delightful local museum dedicated to the model railroading hobby, with a dash of San Diego history mixed in. The dioramas were intricate and well-assembled.
The museum could benefit from a remodel, but some of the outdated features gave it a nice patina. We loved the smaller room filled with Lionel train sets!

My fiancé and I have become frequent patrons over the last year. We love everything about our experiences here! The volunteers are so kind and helpful (shoutout to Stirling!), and Randy (the resident organist) is an absolute delight. As local history fans and classic film enthusiasts, we far prefer attending screenings here rather than those organized by Cinespia. Here, it is less crowded, the tickets are a better value for your buck, your seat is guaranteed, and you get to experience the sound of a restored silent film organ. What more could you ask for?
