Really enjoyed the site. Very enthusiastic people talking about and demonstrating the equipment. The more modern tech, amazing how much of it was so familiar.

I loved Auckland, and I especially loved walking along the water front from Queens Wharf through to St Marys Bay. The different bars and restaurants, the yacht basins were all good viewing. Our luck was in because the Volvo around world race teams were in. Around the Wynyard area there were some huge motor cruisers being cleaned and serviced for the season.
The Cylo park was fun, though we did not see it when musical events were on. I loved that a bridge had been built so that you could get a high birds eye view of the cylos, and the play ground the other side.
