My child has been attending Lakeside Horgen for 2 years and we are happy. He used to attend another bilingual school, however we felt that their curriculum was not in line with Switzerland education system and performance rating seemed too subjective and unclear. Lakeside Horgen provides bilingual education but still follows Swiss curriculum. I love the fact that the school encourages students to write in a pencil (not i-pen!), teaches cursive writing, keeps good sides of traditional education while providing the benefits of providing English lessons, small class environment and an option to continue bilingual education after primary school (or supports a switch to public schools based on student/ family’s desire).
