Cap Sante Park

We went here to watch the sunset and it did not disappoint! Awesome views of the surrounding area. The parking lot is small.
Pictures of this place do not even look real, but it really is that blue (especially on a sunny day). Diablo Lake is easily accessible. You can get a wonderful view right off the main road via this overlook. You can also do some hikes to get different vantage points. It’s totally worth a trip.
Trail of the Cedars

This is a great option if you’re looking for something short. The suspension bridge right at the beginning is a cool place to take photos. The trail itself is an easy stroll through the woods. You can see some neat vegetation along the way. It’s not the most exciting trail, but it’s definitely serene.
Pike Place Chowder

The clam chowder was tasty, but nothing special. Bread bowl was a little stale. It’s a good stop if you’re looking for a quick bite to eat. The line was out the door and down the alley on a warm Saturday afternoon, but the wait actually wasn’t bad. You’re lucky if you can find a seat though! The place itself is very small. They offer a chowder sampler, I’d suggest getting that.
Olympic National Park

One of the best and most diverse national parks in the United States. From mountains, to waterfalls, to rain forests, to the ocean! The beauty of this park is unreal. I recommend taking your time exploring because there are a ton of great trails and views scattered throughout the different areas. We spent 2 days here and saw most of the popular attractions. You could easily spend 3 days though. Make sure to map out your trip as the entire park is huge. There’s not a lot of cell service, so I suggest downloading Google Maps beforehand. September is a great time to visit! It’s not as crowded as the summer months, but you still have a chance for sun and warmer temperatures.
