There is no doubt that the food here is great. Every dish we had was tastier than the next, with no duds, and the portions were great.
It is therefore a shame that the restaurant would try to up-sell some more food for the table. Your food is very good, so let it do the talking.
Then again, some people might actually enjoy this attention from the head waiter and consider it part of the experience. Ultimately, the food was great, including the left overs we ate the next day, so it gets a pass from me.

Great authentic Italian flavors, not heavy with sauces, but flavorful through excellent cooking and balance of natural ingredients.
We especially liked the two tagliatelle pasta with the porcine mushrooms and the funghi pizza.
The service was warm and friendly, and the atmosphere was typical of a cozy plac of its size.
Would recommend it.
