I reached out to Jenny at the tail end of my pregnancy. Luckily she was available, and we begun to get to know one another through a few preparatory calls and texts. I also met her partner Heather. It’s been two days since I’ve delivered and am now fully convinced that not only should every woman be required to have a doulas support- they should have Jenny. Being highly sensitive (both her and myself) she anticipated every single need I had from start to finish without ever having to voice it. Her presence is calm, grounding, reassuring, yet also firm at the perfect times. I simply would not have had as positive an experience had she not been there. She provides incredible physical relief, and really empowers you to listen to your own body as all the decisions of bringing a child into the world come up. Do not hesitate in reaching out to her, you will be deeply glad that you did.
