My family and I went to the Grind for lunch on 9/17. Four people ordered food and drinks and one could not find anything to eat, as they took her favorite flatbread off the menu. So she just ordered an Iced coffee and went to the burger place next door to buy a burger with fries.
When the employees from the Grind saw that this only one person had something to eat from an outside place, they invited her to leave and stay outside, as they don’t allow food from other places inside their restaurant.
Because we would not let her eat outside by herself, I asked them to let us stay inside, as 4 of 5 people had bought food from their place and it was 2pm and 91 degrees outside. But they did not change their minds, so we left.
Whatever reasons this rule has, they shouldn’t be stronger than some common sense, tolerance, kindness and concern for the health and well-being of a family. You have lost a few customers.
