Very few people there when we visited. Extremely well presented industrial heritage museum about coal mining. The power generation and winding gear building was a big surprise because it was Art Nouveau and so well laid out. Climbing to the top of the mine winding gear was the highlight for me. The exhibition about diversity was not relevant.

Very prominent structure that you just can not miss. Well preserved. There is a good motorhome overnight stopping place at the base. Good facilities.
