Mex Tex at it's best. The great plus for this restaurant is it's location as part of a public space that's about 1 floor above the street level. This allows you to eat indoors or outdoors while feeling you are to some extent disconnected from the busy street and city below you. While still connected to the street level, kids can mostly run around if they need a movement break. The food was good, portions were nice, service was helpful and the prices were as expected.

Just about 1 hour drive away from Manhattan this place offers a very different vibe. An easy walk around the compound takes you through an avenue of traditional statues, the main temple with the famous larger than life Buddha, and a small picturesque pond. There are restrooms, a small gift shop and you can also share the devotees vegetarian lunch or witness some of their ceremonies. Located at the back alley of this small shopping center. Fast charging but limited things you can do while waiting for that percentage bar to get there...

Located in the heart of Times square this bowling alley is as good as it gets. With countless lanes divided between multiple spaces, a nice arcade, and a bar. Friendly servers will attend to all of your needs and the menu includes many fast food classics and a variety of drinks. Prices here are as expected in such a prime location. You can have a great time here after exploring Fifth avenue, Broadway or come to roll a few balls to escape the weather outside. Kids can use rails and a slide when playing.

Hip coffee place. It seems like Ground central coffee chose to (successfully) focus on quality coffee brewing and so there are only several small snacks and light food available. Indoor seating is available but no WC. Prices are reasonable and the service was delightful. The bottom line: good coffee.
