Excellent place to hide in the shade for a few hours if you need to escape the heat. It is similar to several others aquariums i have visited. There are always walk through glass tunnels where you and a menacing looking shark can come face to face. The design both exterior and interior is marvellous (see photos). Its a great place for kids, there is much educational, hands on stuff for them to get involved with and, of course, many superb colourful species for them to Marvel at along with the creepy, scary ones The Cafeteria/ Restaurant is very nice indeed. Beware though its not a cheap day out. The aquarium is within walki g distance of Buggiba bus station.
Many buses pass it by on their way to Buggiba from Malta. There is also a bus from Mdina/ rabat via Mosta yo buggiba station where you canwalk from on the seafront promenade.
A lovely place to stroll in any season but particularly wonderful at Christmas. Cutbacks have seen many activities curtailed but the fairground at Christmas benefits from the huge open space and the traditional carousel with beautiful hobby horses harks back to a bygone age. The old fountain looked spectacular tonight bathed in different glowing colours. It is quite a distance to walk the full garden circuit and at some points there are many steps which are problematic to those of us elderly people no longer in the full flush of fitness but taken slowly or possibly in part, still a
wonderful experience .🎄😊
Glasgow Central tours

Today, a friend and i took a really educational tour of the subterranean parts of UK's second busiest station .£15 ticket booked online buys you protective clothing and an amazing trip underneath the current station to view an old victorian disused platform, the labyrinth of tunnels and passages down below and the very interesting museum of bygone days.
Within the next couple of months, amazing things will be happening . The old platform is to be completely transformed. A length of rail will be installed, an old steam engine of the period is to be transported from Bo'ness and Kinneil museum. Holograms depicting Victorian ladies walking on the platform will be
Installed in front of old Victorian, specially constructed, shop frontages.Paul was our guide today. He is the TV star of " Inside Central Station". He is extremely knowledgeable very funny, has 1000 anecdotes and cannot be missed in full scottish highland dress with his Scottish version ZZ Top style beard. A thoroughly perfect guy for the job.
He is the genius behind most of said projects and in over 30 years service has been Station Manager at London
Euston, Kings Cross and Glasgow Central Cant wait to see the latest, most ambitious project come to pass.
Classic Grand

Typical of many places nowadays. This is an ancient cinema of former dubious reputation. Tonight there were, i understand three simultaneous concerts on different floors. There are no lifts to top floor, so as a disabled person, i had to climb several flights of stairs to be confronted by a rooftop venue mainly standing room only with few seats. Poor for the elderly or disabled, right up there with the other nightmare that is SWG3. This took me by surprise as on my only previous visit i was in the ground floor seated main old cinema where i thought someone like Sari Schorr and her excellent band would have merited playing. Entertainment should be able to be enjoyed in a modicum of comfort. Even 90 mins of football is served up in a seated stadium with great disabled facilities. Too many venues just thrust a take it or leave it situation on paying customers
Restaurant Laurent

This is a very classy italian restaurant with wonderful classic choices of dishes. The antipasti platter for sharing was varied and very appetizing . My pork Schnitzel in mushroom sauce was very tasty and was served with a large platter of Rosemary Potatoes and mixed vegetables. Other dishes for our party included Pizza prosciutto and Fettuccine with salmon. All delicious.
We had Cappuccinos as we had no room for dessert
My only criticism would be at the end coffee and remaining drinks were a bit rushed as the restaurant wanted to close at 9pm which is very early. This was a birthday celebration attended by 8 people. Good business for the restaurant, so a little extra time at the end would have been nice. Our waiter was friendly and gave excellent service. I am a scottish visitor coming to friends in Germany for many years. This was my first visit to Laurent. For the quality of food i would recommend this venue to everyone .
