Since I recently moved close to Washington Park I have been coming here quite often. It's a huge park and a recreation center as well. Smith lake is also here and so is Lily pond ,I like to walk around both. The park has a lot of floral beauty. It also has a garden of some sort. You can rent pedaling boats here. They probably have other stuff you can rent and do on the water as well. A lot of people fish here too. It's a very busy park but there is a lot of room! When they have sports activities going on it can get quite busy!

I really do like this park mainly because it doesn't have a playground. As an adult with no children right now I like to find parks that don't have playgrounds which there aren't very many in the state of Colorado. I only have 2 complaints the first is they have no restrooms or portable potty the second is the automatic sprinklers come on even when we had plenty of rain in the forecast in fact they'll come on right in the middle of a rainstorm. With water level so low in Colorado I'm really surprised that this park isn't taking it more seriously or any of the Denver parks for that matter!
