What an amazing Breakfast and Brunch place. Hidden just a short distance from the hustle of the city centre, LOKMA is indeed a gem among Bielefeld's restaurants.
The freshly baked, piping hot flat bread, delicate sweet-sour shakshuka, delecteble bread spreads, assortment of cheese and veggies and everything else on the table was just a foodie's dream come true.
Something else that needs a special mention is the most amazing Turkish Tea they have. Smooth, strong and fragrant. Most restaurants don't pay attention to their coffee and teas. After all they are just a press of button or putting a tea bag in hot water, and that's why they are always underwhelming. But at LOKMA, the tea elevates the whole breakfast to another level.
The old Turkish grandmas working in the kitchen definitely created magic on the platter. And though their traditional dresses and cute headscarves are complete opposite to the chic modern ambience of the place, somehow they seemed be the heart and soul of the place. A match made in heaven, tradition and modernity thriving side by side, complimenting each other, a perfect pairing - to which one can only be thankful.
My advice, don't miss the chance to have a taste of heaven.
Also, be early (i.e. before they open) or make a reservation if you are going on a weekend morning.

One stop shop for all your needs. Fashion to groceries all under one roof. A lot of options to chose from. A please tell shopping experience over all.
Cozy and trendy place which has stood test of time. Not exactly for college going or early 20s crowd.

Very few Asian restaurants have the guts to offer the authentic cuisine to German consumers, Tamrap is one of them. Excuisite real taste of Thailand. The food is fresh, tastes great, service is fast and prices are reasonable for such an authentic experience. If you are here, do not miss the papaya salad, it's hot but it's worth it. Bon Appetit.
