Heard about them because of their izakaya but decided to come on new year's eve for a meetup with my friend.
While the names of the food sounded creative, I wished they tasted as nice as they seemed. Overall I thought the food was quite average for the prices they were charging and it's not likely that I will return.

Ordered their large wanton mee with additional dumplings ($6.50). The soup was rather bland and both the wanton and dumplings didn't taste very seasoned. The noodles were also rather average. It's likely that this will be my first and last purchase here.
I have been eating this for more than 5 years. Really like their dry ban mian and the chilli that accompanies it. They are also one of the stalls with the longest operating hours at this hawker centre so it's one of the few options left if you are there in the later part of the day.
It has been years since I visited Lian He Ben Ji, mostly because of their long waiting time and that I have been exploring all kinds of other food. Finally revisited when they just open as we were having a late lunch that day.

Heard about and came across this place for some time now but didn't have the inclination to try it. Finally gave it a go as I was having some burger cravings.
Got the nbcb, fries and a matcha milkshake. Fries and milkshake were quite standard. For the burger, I really agree with what Alderic stated in his YouTube video - the patty is really over seasoned. I'm someone who can take heavier flavours but I was tasting the salt more than anything. I also couldn't feel the cheese in my burger. The texture of the meat patty is also not pleasant and I thought it was really dry. It's one of the rare times I thanked myself for not getting the double patties.
If you have tried burgers at other burger specialization places in Singapore, this is probably not for you, but it is likely they are serving such quality because of the prices they charge.
