It’s just okay. For a spot for locals to get some acceptable, mediocre gentrified Mexican food for cheap, it gets the job done. Not too sure why there was sooooo much white sauce on the fish taco but at least it didn’t taste bad, just not too great. More salt would be a game changer, and I’m not the biggest fan of it.

Also, the girl at the register seemed a tad out of it. Maybe hire someone who doesn’t whisper mumble the orders over the speaker?

Received the Rancheros Verde while my friend got the Steak and Egg platter. The menu description does not do the food justice as it is all prepared well with great flavor and piping hot. Does get busy on weekends so be aware that a wait is in the cards, but it is worth it. Check it out!

A very great experience from beginning to end. The atmosphere here was amazingly funky, with a lot of antique fixtures and trinkets to view. I got the breakfast quesadilla, which was stuffed with a monster amount of eggs, pepper, cheese, and advocating. It came with a side of fruit. The portion was gigantic as were with the other patrons with their meals. Great service with attentive wait staff. Also, beer at 1030am? Will definitely come again!

This place gets really packed for a late weekend lunch rush so be prepared to get your items to-go. The al pastor tacos were the best, as they shave the meat right off the rotating mechanism. The carne asada fries were also great, but the amount for the smaller of the two sizes is a huge amount of food, and a great price! Remember, it is an open kitchen concept, so you will smell like their delicious meats when leaving.

I got the combination of chicken and beef for my rice bowl. Very fast service, reasonably cheap prices, and good quality. I got the smallest size and it was still super filling.
