Victory Cafe is a chill location on Bloor Street. I’ve been a number of times now, and have received consistently good service.
The pricing is fair enough, the drinks are fine (though some people in our party received the wrong drinks), and the food is pretty good.
I had the Wild Mushroom pizza with added chicken (the $5 to add the chicken is probably not worth it). The pizza was good, though I generally prefer the Lumberjack option.

We were here for the beginners ceramics class last summer. It was a fun (albeit pricey) experience. It was however soured somewhat when a lady came in and very politely informed the owner that she was following up on some matter - the owner (who was nothing but wonderful towards us) responded very rudely/aggressively. I’m not sure of the backstory, but it didn’t look good from our viewpoints.
Our dishes turned out well, except that two of them were dyed using the wrong colours (when we mentioned this, while collecting we got a “oh yeah, that happens sometimes” response from the person who gave them to us).
We bought a few ceramic mugs here as well. They’ve lasted and are amongst my favourites.
