What a lovely walk along the River we had on Sunday, First stopped off for coffee and cake at the harbour front bistro then off for a stroll along the Almond river walkway. There's plenty of information signs informing you about the history in the area connected to the river , Also information about the wildlife mainly birds.
First visit since the refurbishment !

Update !Called in today ( 25th of January ) for lunch at 12.30pm and there wasn't a seat to be had in the restaurant. So it had to be the bar area ,

Great little eco cafe at Cuerden valley park.
The café is dog friendly so no one gets left out !

Not for me ! Felt like I was sitting in a canteen.
Certainly didn't like my food being served on a wooden platter. I had steak and ale pie , It was good but I don't want to tip all the ingredients on to the wooden platter.
