My first post Covid visit was a happy one with some old favourites and a few newbies on the menu. Fresh ingredients and great flavours make their sushi and dumplings easily the best items to go for.
Only thing - it is a restaurant, not a nightclub, irrespective of whether it is the weekend. The volume of the music was ramped up halfway through the evening, and we had to shout to hear ourselves, which spoiled the fun a little.

Blink and you'll miss it. It's startling to see such a grand archway along the main road, the dargah proper lies deeper into the compound, its ornate minarets glinting welcomingly.
Our own welcome was less effusive, as the watchman asked us if we were Ismailis. Honestly, this surprised me. It took some persuasion to get past him, which spoiled things a little, but then we were given a personalised guided tour by a warden, peppered with many historical anecdotes.
It would have made five stars, but for the unnecessarily over-vigilant gatekeeper.
