Ordered quite a smattering from the menu, ate most of it.

- Bulgogi steak was ok, a little too much sauce but flavor was good.
- Shrimp spring rolls were mint / basil forward, did not finish.
- Seoul hot chicken buns would be good with a savory bun, or at least one that's not so sweet. Chicken was ok, more spice maybe?
- Roti were good, the curry sauce that came with them was not. Found that the roti and red sauce that came with the bulgogi steak were a better pairing
- Laksa soup was confusing. The noodles were good, the broth was trying too hard, and the chicken tasted like armpit. Another did not finish.

Service was great, the atmosphere is cool but the metal chairs are really uncomfortable. Sorta ranks in the 'would go back if a friend really wanted it' category.
Mouth of The South

If you are looking for an actual taste of New Orleans you will be sorely disappointed. This is a 0 star restaurant on all fronts. Omaha is proving to be a huge miss for quality food and this place falls right in line.

We ordered fried okra and onion rings for an appetizer. We had also ordered the Cajun fish and chips and a catfish plate, can't remember the name. When the okra and rings came out we had a piece or two of tasteless, cold centered, bagged frozen okra. We then tried the onion rings but after the first bite we knew something was off.

For the first time ever, my wife and I decided to cut our losses, pay for the crappetizers that were on the table, and leave. We didn't feel the need to waste even more money. It is clear the owners of this place have never been to New Orleans, or if they have they weren't paying attention. The food here is offensively bad.

In addition to the bad food, you can expect to be seated for 10 minutes or more before anyone ever comes to the table. If you go on Sunday during the brunch you can expect to be deafened by someone pretending to play blues. Diner beware.
Hook and Lime

Hook and Lime is decent. My wife and I both feel that we would go back for the beer battered cod tacos but out of all the tacos / dishes we tried that was the only one we actually enjoyed. The lobster tacos were not good. The ceviche was not good. The other tacos (shrimp, seared tuna) were not good. The salsa trio was good.

The waiter was nice, atmosphere ok, just really loud when it gets busy so it's hard to converse at dinner. Overall we would go back but they aren't doing anything spectacular. 3 stars.

Bahn Mi was decent, but it had broccoli on it... What? For the price I'm glad it came out as two halves cut from a larger bread roll... At least the portion size was good.

The spring rolls were ok... They seemed fresh but the were clumsily made and contained small shrimp pieces. We could've made these at home...I expect a Vietnamese restaurant to be able to do them better than I can.

The clay pot curry had a different flavor than I was expecting but it was decent. I didn't have any expectations because I've only really had Thai and Indian curry, but I probably wouldn't get it again.

The phô. Oh the phô. Here is where Saigon Surface lost me. I have had phô all around the world from some amazing restaurants. Not special restaurants, just simple holes in the wall that do phô very well. This is really what we came for and it had a weird sour taste. It also contained potato wedges and huge carrot chunks that were mush. Once doctored up with hoisin and Sriracha it was passable but we had to remove the weird veggies that killed the dish.

We're gonna tour other restaurants for a while. Can't say we wouldn't go back here just yet, depends on if we find a better Vietnamese place in Omaha.

Changing of the guard was really cool! We lucked out and stumbled into it... Had we known about it we would have made it a point to go. It changes days depending on the month...
