Standing proudly at the edge of the Tagus River, the Monument to the Discoveries is a tribute to Portugal's age of exploration. Its towering presence and intricate sculptures celebrate the intrepid spirit of those who charted new worlds. The panoramic views from the top provide a remarkable perspective of the river and the city. The monument's shape evokes the prow of a ship, symbolizing the nation's maritime prowess. It's not just a sculpture; it's a commemoration of Portugal's journey into the unknown. Visiting this landmark, you can't help but be inspired by the audacity of those who once set sail from these shores, and you're reminded of the enduring legacy of their courage and curiosity

Great and huge big area to share with family and friends, you can walk, run, cycling, and play with plenty of space. There are coffee places and the zoo access as well. The most beautiful part is to meet friendly and cute deers around the park.
