There's a lot of hype around this restaurant and most of it is justified. They have delicious food and you need to be ready to wait due to the large lineups on weekends and public holidays.
The inside of the restaurant is decorated well and looks good. The food is fresh and the quantities are okay. They price their food slightly high but that's not a big problem.
The wait-staff are a little hard to find (maybe it's because their restaurant is always full) and I found their salad severely lacking in presentation. Don't put lettuce butts in food, chefs!
Despite that, it's still a very good restaurant that's worth a visit.

I have to say, my first visit was a 5+ star experience. I went in near closing time so I wasn't expecting that freshest of ingredients but, boy, was I wrong.
The gentleman behind the counter who was serving was super polite as well as the girl at the cash register. They looked after everyone so well and had such amazing manners. Customer service was top notch!
Then the food! Wow. The chicken was juicy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. What heavenly flavours. The vegetables were fresh! The hummus and garlic sauce were smooth and flavourful.
This is my favourite shawarma experience in Ottawa by far!
