We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Visitor Centre in Algonquin Park! The displays were high quality, interactive, informative, and the facts shared were really interesting! We enjoyed the cafe area where we could warm up our lunch we brought with us and you could get a hot beverage for $2.50, reasonable! The views out the back were beautiful and the movie showing in the theatre was excellent...learned alot! Absolutely recommend you stop in as you drive through the park, lots to take part in. The store was excellent too! Loved the iron on patches offered and the maple cookies were stellar! Enjoy it all!
So enjoyed this hiking area! The weather was great, the trail clearly marked, most people were respectful of keeping physically distanced. There are some steep inclines to be ready for! The outcropping for the view were lovely. The fall colours are brilliant right now. First time on this trail, won't be our last that is for sure.
What a fantastic venue for live music! Having been a member of the actual golf course I can tell you that the course is fantastic! From a music lover's point of view, the restaurant area sets up really well for events! Seeing Red Wanting Blue, great band out of Ohio there just last month, I can attest to the sound quality, the vibe, the solid service and the manager's professionalism. Got an event? Looking for a venue? Put Huron Oaks on your list of locales to check out!
