Griffith observatory is a great spot to go to if you want to see all of LA, the Hollywood sign and just in general to get a good sunrise/sunset view. However, if you don’t want to pay $10+ for parking then you have to walk pretty far from the free parkades, roughly a 30 minute walk depending on your pace. Everything here is essentially free, so if you have time it’s worth it for the views.
