Weekly concerts ended with the delayed celebration of Irish Night to support Bay Ridge St. Patrick Day parede. As usual the Canny Brothers excited the crowd with another spectacular performance. Thanks guys!

Friends came down from NH and wanted to tour High Line. A little history. Trains as transport ran on solid ground. In NYC this was dangerous. First underground was in Brooklyn, but that's another story. So above ground started in mid 1920's. Eventually train traffic began less useful as trucks began more deliveries. Google history of the High Line in New York City. Many videos available. Such a shame this historic and public park must be removed and returned to a US federal transportation center! Yes, it must be returned to the government by 2030 in its original degenerated condition! So it may remain as transportation. So sorry!

Excellent gym! Wonderful walking track! Training track on 2nd level is used by all the local track teams. The spring session starts March 26, 2023. The very reasonable rates can't be best. Especially seniors. Free for students with ID.

St George Theatre is one of the "Old Time" theatres. Renovated back to its glory days. Now offering a plethora of music, plays, shows and movies. Great variety at reasonable prices. Cocktails available. Soft drinks and water. Another fine show: Beatles Blast 2023. EXCELLENT!

Star of the Sea chapter of the Knight's of Columbus is an old chapter dating back into 1800's. They were located in an old building until 2006. The new building opened in 2008 and is in exceptional shape. It has a large modern hall. A large bar and game room with pool table and multiple TVs. The bar is open to the public. We were there when the open Bayonne Irish Festival needed to be moved indoors.
