For those wondering "why someone would put a school near a bunch of prisons"...it's FOR the prisoners. High school-age "kids" who are in prison but still need access to education (which of course will help reduce recidivism rates). Also for young adults, maybe they are getting their GEDs or in other programs to further their education, so when they get out they can be a PRODUCTIVE part of society.
Open 24 hours supposedly, 10:50 Sunday night, lights are blazing but the sign says closed, door is locked. I get if someone has to go to the bathroom or run an errand, but leave a message back in 10 minutes. So unprofessional. UPDATE: went back the next morning, asked why they were closed the previous night. Clerk said they're always closed at 10 p.m. I asked, with all the lights blazing? It looks the same as if it's open. There's no indication that it's close by any sort of fewer or dimmed lights. Also there aren't any hours posted anywhere. She just shrugged, like oh well. Great customer service, and I say that with dripping sarcasm.
