We (couple) opted out of the buffet dinner, we caught a glimpse of it on the way in, looked like your basics pasta, potatoes, chicken and salmon covered in cream sauce. Instead we popped into the Old Spaghetto Factory and walked the 25 mins or so up Younge St. We sat at a round table with 8 others who also opted out of the dinner. The seats are very close together and the water glasses were dirty (lipstick stains) but there was a ballot with your characters on it, pens and paper on the tables for us. There was a mini bar you could buy drink tickets and cocktails etc around $10/$12 each. Bartender was rude and didn't smile.
Then out come these 6 characters, dressed up in costume and 100% in character the entire time. They were FANTASTIC and made us all feel welcome and even asked a lot of us to say a line or play a part. At the end of the 2ish hours you make your guess as to "whodunnit" and if you guess the right character and motive you could win a little prize. The show was awesome, lots of puns. There were some children who seemed a tad bored. They recognized everyone for their special events which was nice (our anniversary of dating). Overall the actors rocked the show and I'm glad we saved some $$ opting out of the buffet.
