I liked MNS for my kids because I wanted a small school setting. My other older child went to one of the larger montessoris in Markham and I felt that it was too big for my liking. I enjoy seeing the same teachers everyday taking care of my kids and knowing all the teachers at the school. I also enjoy knowing and seeing most of the parents at the school compared to the larger Montessori.
The teachers at MNS are very caring and also diligent. I could tell that my kids were well cared for because of the excitement they would have to go to school and also the things that they would mention when I ask them about their day.
As for academics, I am satisfied with the results so far. One of my kids, who also went to MNS a few years ago, is back in the public school system and the foundation she built at MNS is very evident based on the feedback received from her different teachers and the continued success she's had with the school curriculum. She's been in the public school for a number of years now and she learns everything with such ease (so far). She is analytical, collaborative, engaged, creative, etc.
