My 1st time up there. I went to the 2nd tier of the Falls. I was not going to climb a rope to get to the 3rd tier lol. It was beautiful ❤
Nothing spectacular but if you want to get out of the house for a nice shaded walk, it's fine. There were a couple of nice views of the mountains and I saw some horses, ducks, robins, and quail. There was trash around and the benches could use a facelift...
I actually climbed up to (almost) the top of bridal veil falls instead of going to the upper falls. I just parked in the upper falls parking lot... It was sprinkling and raining a little bit on and off the whole time but the trails weren't too bad, not too slippery, a little muddy though...And if you end up on the ridge we did, just below the top of bridal veil falls, just a warning….almost at the end of the trail, there are 2 or 3 steps only a little wider than my foot so I had to sidestep, hooking my fingers into cracks in the cliff to make sure I didn't fall down the mountain... If you are afraid of heights, do not take this trail!
