While passing by Boise on the way to Washington, pick up some food from the many restaurants on the boulevard and have a nice picnic at Storey Park. Let the kids run around to get their wiggles out before filling up with gas and hitting the road again. In August, the 86 degree weather made this a perfect place to stop and play!

A shaded mountain trail to a rewarding hike to a waterfall. The trail is a bit rocky and steep for kids, but take it slow and you will find a refreshing 30 foot waterfall with beautiful views of Provo canyon. At the base of the falls, the water disappears into the rocky gravel base. Pretty interesting.
