Rock Canyon

A really fun hike especially this time of the season because of the spring run-off! Even with all the water rushing you're still able to hike all the way without getting wet. If you take a right the Kyhv fork you can make it to a hill that has an amazing view of the back of Kyhv and Y mountain, as well as Cascade and Provo Peak.
Save it For the Summer:
Probably the longest two miles of my life! The hike seemed easy on paper but quickly became a steep hike that I had to do on all fours. The hike lasted for us about two and a half hours. It was also bad timing on my part because the higher we got the more snow we began to see and feel—there was one time on the trail I sank to my waist.
The snow furthermore was the reason we couldn't finish; we were following what seemed to be a path before it snowed, but after the cutback, that path disappeared.
Needless to say, I'll be back in the summer!

The highlights were the two random dogs accompanying us to the top and back, and the large winter icicles.
Upper Falls Trail

Great short hike to a very hidden falls. The trail starts on the other side of the shed covered in graffiti, and just looking out there is no sign of a waterfall at all! The hike itself while short was very steep and rocky. Still a great little hike to a cool looking waterfall with an excellent view of the canyon.
