Not for children but still awesome... perhaps because there were no children... ;)... The trail starts off well defined but slowly fades away as you hike up the canyon. It picks up in spots but there is a little bushwhacking in places. Sometimes it's best to hike right on the bank of the stream. However, there are some sections of path on the north side that are reasonable. Make sure to check out the double A-frame rock pile, the treasure chest, and, if you want to keep going, the rock spire. (See pics). It can be difficult in places so come prepared. It started raining on me so I didn't make it as far as I wanted. When I go back I'll update this I suppose. I'll try to post my GPS waypoints too.
