Southbay Foodcourt
2024 May 03
This is your average foodcourt. Smaller than what you find in most malls on the island. Similar to what you would find in corner shop lots. Drinks are larger than normal.

There are staples like char koay teow. But most are niche items like fried egg rice and sarawak laksa. Taste is average.

Place is nice, cozy and cool. But there's nothing much to see.
Wide variety of food including western and asian food. Chicken rice, duck rice, chinese dumplings and laksa are nice. Yong tau fu ... not so much as the soup and the fish paste was bland. Kolok mee was also plain.

Service and atmosphere are typical Penang hawker center standards. Prices are also standard hawker prices.

Attached washrooms are relatively clean and free.

An additional gimmick Is the robot that delivers the drinks.
