A Chinese Islamic restaurant serving North Western Chinese cuisine. Very good lamb soups and perfectly done sesame onion bread. Perfect for a cold day in LA.
Chinese Islamic restaurant with Chinese North Western cuisine. Good portions and reasonably priced for big family meals. Kinda wondering why they called it a seafood restaurant when their specialty dishes are mostly lamb based. They don't use a lot of msg, so no msg thirst after a whole bowl of soup.
Good strip anchored by Marukai grocery store and some nice Japanese and Asian foods. The patisserie makes great lemon tarts.
A nice cafe in Carmel serving California food variety with local wines and a nice balcony view. The dishes are done well, very nicely made gyros and osso bucco. The bread was good too. Looking forward to trying other items in their menu the next time I pop into Carmel.
This place is known for their Yunnan special rice noodles. Chicken broth, thick chewy rice noodles, served with several standard sides that is self added at the table. They also stir fry the rice noodles if one prefers the stir fry version. The store deli counter sells many well made small dishes to go with either porridge or noodles. 28 types if I counted correctly. Tasty and good value.
