I love Cracker Barrel for their country store alone!
There are so many wonderful things to browse through while waiting for your meal!
& my meal was delicious!
I went for the sampler and tried the meatloaf and the country chicken. I got the gravy on the side and chose the mashed potatoes and the fried apples as my two sides..
Oh. My. Goodness.
Those apples were amazing!!
The chicken was surprisingly good. It paired wonderfully with the mashed potatoes and gravy.
The meatloaf was also good. It is loaded with green peppers, and unfortunately, I am not a huge fan. I quickly tired of picking them out and ended up concentrating on the chicken... okay, okay, the apples!

My friend ordered the chicken and dumplings with mashed potatoes and Mac n' Cheese.
They thought everything was great!
My friend also had the cornbread, which they did not care for. But they thought the Biscuits were quite good.
Of course I will be back!
