This place was so good I had to go twice during my stay. It was the only restaurant where I ordered pasta as my dinner that there was enough to be a meal. The pizza was also excellent as was the apple strudel. The only recommendation I would make is a little more gelato with the strudel. You should certainly give this place a try!😋
I've been searching for the best chicken sandwich in Charlotte and the Billy D has been on my list for a while. I finally made it in to give it a try. They pounded this chicken pretty thin, that's not a plus. It had great crunch but just no flavor. It's covered in slaw which is about all you taste.
I sampled my companions dish of French toast. The marscapone is the star of the dish. It was excellent. The bread is supposedly made in house. the slice sure is thin and there is only two slices! The syrup is tasty.
If you lower your expectations you will not feel like you over paid. Obviously this is a food review not drinks, which is what this place may be more known for.
