Must have been a former church. Was there tonight to celebrate the 150th anniversary of my high school. Nice sized former "sanctuary" for the dining room. You can still see the former church's organ pipes. Wait staff was very attentive. Downstairs was setup for drinks and dancing. Nice split level venue for any event.
This is the third time I have dined here and it never disappoints. Service is quick, wait staff is courteous and gives good suggestions. Food is always fresh, well prepared and nicely presented. Had Caesar salad with sea bass because they didn't have the crab meat available. It was a very large portion and the bass was well seasoned and delicious. It was a very good substitution. The prosecco suggested by the waiter was delicious, so much so that we had a second glass. I highly recommend this spot whether it's for a casual lunch, brunch, or a romantic dinner.
It's a big, big big step up from the old Associated supermarket! They are offering a wider variety of food and from different cultures to accommodate the neighborhood. The presentation is also much cleaner and brighter! This is now my other go to supermarket in the area. I love their selection of meats, especially the skirt steak that wasn't always available uptown. My favorite aisles are meats, produce, and dairy. Hopefully, the renovation of this market will lead to more and better quality stores in the area.
