Really enjoyed every aspect of brunch at Planta! Exceptional service with well curated menu and a really nice, well designed space. Very cozy and welcoming. Truly amazed by the food and presentation of every dish. I’m not vegan and came here with a couple friends who love this spot and I can see why!
We got the spinach artichoke dip, dragon roll and spicy chorizo pizza to share which was lovely, full of flavour and just delicious! I got the lettuce wraps which I couldn’t get enough of! Overall every dish was awesome!Will be back!

While I respect the opinions of other reviewers, I must admit that my experience at this restaurant left me perplexed. What were we missing that everyone’s raving about? Although the ambience and service were satisfactory, I found the food to be deeply disappointing, to say the least. It was quite underwhelming and even laughable, especially considering the price point. As enthusiasts of French cuisine, my partner and I had high expectations, fueled by the restaurant's ratings and glowing reviews. Unfortunately, the brouillade lacked the expected depth of flavor, resembling bland egg goo. The pancake showed a lack of effort, being overly buttered, dense, and uninteresting. The grilled fish suffered from a similar lack of flavor. The only saving grace were the delicious baguettes. Overall, it was a truly disheartening experience.

This restaurant was an absolute delight, and I am already looking forward to my next visit. We ordered the mandoo, tteokbokki, and kimchi tofu stew, and each dish was expertly crafted with authentic and robust flavors that left a lasting impression. The stew, in particular, was a standout dish that truly warmed the heart and left us wanting more. We also indulged in the creamy kimchi udon, which exceeded all expectations with its incredible taste and texture. The overall experience, from the ambiance to the service and food, was nothing short of perfection.

I always find myself astounded by the exceptional dining experience at Shu Han Ju. This restaurant consistently provides warm and attentive service, as well as delectable cuisine that leaves me feeling comforted and satisfied. It has certainly become one of my favorite spots in the city, a place where I always feel welcome and at home.
