LGBTQIA2S+ friendly large beach, with clean & spacious bathroom facilities, water fountains, volleyball court poles & concessions. Don’t be surprised to find topless women or people dressed in bondage in the daytime. No one blinks an eye because everyone minds their own business & are just comfortable being themselves. Only downside to this beach is parking can be a little tough, but there is free parking around if you’re willing to walk.
One of the few restaurants that I order the same things every time we go: truffle beef soup dumplings, crispy pan fried lamb dill soup dumplings, chicken hearts, pig ears, Chinese style seaweed salad (different than Japanese style) & the special Off Color tea beer brewed just for them. Their chili oil is so flavorful, looks like they have a large nutmeg in each jar.,
This is my go-to place for ingredients for many Asian dishes. The lowest prices & variety of options in the city. Love the selection of exotic fruits they get. I hope they bring back the boba tea millefuille cakes.
I absolutely love this studio! Being newer to yoga & having only gone to Core Power, I like the small intimate class sizes, energy of the people who attend & work there. The owner Daren also teaches and really makes you feel welcome. Aimee is another great instructor, both do a good job of explaining poses for the newbies. I’m obsessed w/their restorative yoga classes! I feel so zen & sleep so good afterwards. They offer free classes for the community as well as other workshops & have other locations too. Excited to check out their intro to ayurveda workshop!
